"When you tell one lie, it leads to another."

"When you tell one lie, it leads to another."
By: Paul Hatch

What this quote means is that whenever you tell a lie to another, that person will go on and tell another and it will go on. It's like spreading rumors. It isn't right to tell lies about others. You wouldn't like it if somebody was spreading lies about you so why would you do it to somebody else? Telling lies is most likely choosing the wrong. You always need to be truthful to others. When you tell a lie to a person, that person will definitely tell another and will get spread and people will start to make things up and that is not a good thing because you never know if can affect the person you are talking about. Rumors can really harm people. Sometimes words can hurt more than actions. When somebody tells you a secret, that means they trust you and that doesn't mean that you have to somebody else. You need to keep it to yourself. Even if you dislike someone, it's still not right to tell a lie.
