1. I liked how Mr. Haymore always had a quote for us each time we had this class, and he explained thoroughly what it meant.

2. I didn't like typing tutor because although i don't type perfectly i am okay with that

3. I feel like if you influence the students SO MUCH in being a great student and going to college some might just want to do the opposite

4. Every day was a highlight for me. I learned so much in this class it made me think of what i want for my self in the future

What this is saying is that the choices you make now as a good person may impact your life in a certain way. Making the right decisions will help you in life. Making bad decisions can affect your entire life if it doesn't than you are lucky and should learn from the mistakes. Always be careful on your decisions because who knows if it can affect your life. Choosing the right is the best thing you can do to lead yourself to the correct path. I’ve been in this class already for a year and it’s like a habit for me to choose the right. Like we are doing a program, not everyone is going to choose the right but it doesn’t mean you can always take the hard way out because if you take the easy way, you will never learn anything and you will be stuck. Always ask yourself if this is an uncomfortable situation because if you’re in a comfortable situation, you’re finding the easy way out of things and therefore you will not really succeed. This is one of the keys to success. Use this tip wisely and always choose the right.

What this quote says in general is that in order for there to be peace and good in the world there has to be good character in people. For example there can't be peace all around the world unless everybody has good character. If everyone in the world can participate to have good character there is a chance there can be peace in the world.We have to respect one another and treat each other like we want to be treated. We can’t be hypocrites, but we have to make sure we’re always having good character. If we want something to happen we have to set the example. The things is that if have a good character means being someone i’m not then i would want to have good character. I rather just be myself but still respect other and treat them how i want to be treated.As mentioned in another post, we need relationships to progress in anything. What this means is that having likeable characteristics can get more people to like you. If more people like you, then there will be more peace and progression. Peace, because you are at a nice cooperation level with the person. Progression, because more people means more opportunities. You have more people there to help you than if you have good character.

What this quote defines is that it’s better to win a race or something with honor than cheating. If you cheat, of course you will win but you will feel regret and you won't feel like you actually accomplished something by using your knowledge. I prefer to study for a test and get a 100 on it than cheating because I will feel good about myself that I earned a perfect score on my own using my own brain. Cheaters are CTW’S. Cheaters are just people who are lazy and obnoxious. Cheaters will make it through whatever they want but when they’re charge of doing something on their own without cheating, they won’t be able to know what to do. For example, winning in a sport by cheating using a drug to give you more energy is the worst thing ever. You will have fans out there rooting for you thinking you’re doing everything on your own, but when they find out you were the cheating the whole time, they will get disappointed and you will lose respect from your fans. Failing by honor than winning by cheating is better because at least you tried and didn't have to cheat in order to win. In life, cheaters don’t accomplish anything. When they get caught they will never be trusted again and their reputation will be ruined. Those who actually try and fail in honor are CTR’S. It’s important to CTR no matter what situation you are in. CTR is to try your best and not cheat. That should be everyone's motto.

Ebola virus disease is a severe, often fatal illness in humans. Ebola can cause severe bleeding, organ failure, and can lead to death. The virus is transmitted to people from wild animals and spreads in the human population through human-to-human transmission. The first Ebola outbreak occurred in Central Africa. This virus is treatable but no cure has been officially found. It is extremely contagious if not careful. Also it can spread by blood products like unclean needles or unscreened blood it can also be transmitted by saliva, even by touching contaminated things like a doorknob or blanket. Some symptoms of ebola are pain in entire body, gastrointestinal which is diarrhea,nausea, vomiting and more. Some extra symptoms are coughing up blood and mental confusion. Some medications are supportive care, medications, and specialist. The search still continues for a cure for this horrendous virus that has killed more than 6,000 people. Nearly 100 children in the United States were suspected of having Ebola last year, and although none of them actually had the deadly disease, these kids sometimes experienced delays in care because medical staff were concerned about being exposed to Ebola.

Some ways to show honor and respect to those who are in the military are attending to a ceremony that honors to those who fought or visiting a grave and thanking them.

Memorial Day was first celebrated on May 30, 1868.Commander in chief John A. Logan Army of republic designated as May 30 as a Memorial Day.  

How I feel about Memorial day is that it's a remorse day because you are celebrating or honoring those who are already dead. It could be really emotional to those who lost a loved one while honoring our country. Those who died or came back from war deserve full respect from everyone for serving their country. It takes bravery and strong guts to serve for our country. It’s important to respect them because You don’t know what a simple thank you or a salute does to a service man. Just the acknowledgement that they volunteered to lay down our lives to keep this country free. Put a single rose on their headstone and say thank you. Without the sacrifices those brave individuals made in the name of freedom, we would not have the ability to sell Ford vehicles, enjoy time with our friends and families, or many of the other things that we take for granted each day.

These are right examples on why you should tell the truth and it’s correct because it tells examples on how errors can be fixed and making up lies can be worst. If you want to gain trust by someone you should always be honest with them.  Another reason why you shouldn’t lie is because the person you lied to will probably get hurt. It’s hard to forgive someone whom they trusted. And gaining trust and respect back isn’t easy. I agree with Barbara A. Lewis because her tips can be very beneficial in life. I can tell that Barbara A. Lewis is a CTR.

This was my dream job when I was a little girl so yea I would like to be one. I enjoy playing with animals and I’ll do anything to treat animals.

What this quote means is that when you do good, good will come back to you. Sometimes you will receive an award but all that matters is that you are doing the right thing. When you do the right thing you will feel good about yourself.  For example, the guy that Mr. Haymore showed us on the clip was a CTR man. He found an iPad packed with $13,000 in it and returned it back to the authorities. He was rewarded by the owner with $60. He wasn’t greedy with the money and gave some to a homeless lady whom he cared about. That displays that he is a man who has a good heart. If you choose the wrong then you will lose your self respect from others. Your self-worth will drop and your self-esteem will drop also. You should always be kind to others and they will be kind to you. This kind of refers to the Golden Rule because the rule is to treat others the way you want to be treated. If you treat someone with respect then they will respect you back.

I agree with Phillip Riggs because not everything is about money even though we love it. If you work hard for what you love then it's a good thing because at the end you are going to end up being happy for what you do. You should do something that interests you because you will still have the money but if you don't enjoy doing that certain job then you will probably get annoyed or bored. You should find a job that you are passionate about. In my opinion I rather find a job that I love than a job that I don't like. If you're passionate and good at something, why not pursue that path and see where it takes you. You should always try and doing nice things for others and helping them out in some type of way because good things can come to you someday when you least expect it. With these 4 tips you will definitely for sure succeed in life. They can help you lead yourself to the correct path.

My favorite world record was the "Most Snails on Face" record. I think that it is pretty disgusting to have a snail on your face. It must take so much bravery to do that and guts. I can barely even let an ant crawl on me lol. But I thought that was pretty impressive for the kid to have 34 snails on his face for 10 seconds. I wouldn't like to break a world record because I am never really up for challenges and I get lazy. I don't have a talent either.

There is a boy who was walking down a path and he came across a rattlesnake. The rattlesnake asked the boy if he can take him down the mountains since it was too cold for him to survive and there was no food to eat. The little boy was unsure if he should because he was a rattlesnake and was sure that he would bite him. The rattlesnake promised not to and he look pretty persuasive to the boy. So the boy picks him up and takes him the mountain. As soon as they arrive at the bottom of the mountain, the boy puts him down and the rattlesnake bites his leg. The boy cries and asks "Mr. Snake why did you bite me." and the snake replied " You knew what I was when you picked me up." This Indian Youth Legend teaches us a lesson to not choose the wrong because if we do then we will suffer and by choosing the wrong it will lead you to repercussions.  The boy chose the wrong by helping the rattlesnake because he knew that it would bite him but he still helped him out. This quote can apply to taking drugs. If you smoke and you know it's bad for you, you're the one who is going to make yourself suffer. Smoking can cause Lung Cancer and you still do it. Nothing good comes out of a bad action. It will lead you to negative consequences.

I agree with this quote because when you don’t know how to make a right decision or struggling to make one, the best option you can make is to do the right thing. Is what Theodore says. So when you are debating on what to do at a hard moment just remember that you should pick or go with the correct thing. Especially if it is majorly big decision you should always go with the right thing. You should always choose the right even if there will be a negative consequence to it, it is still the right thing to do. You will feel good about yourself when you decide to do the right thing. One example of doing the wrong this is cheating. If you decide to cheat on a test instead of doing it the right way and study instead. In the future when your teacher wants to do a review about the same thing, you won’t know what it’s about and you’ll end up failing that review. The best and most productive thing you can do is study for the test.

No I wouldn't like to become one because singing or dancing really isn't my talent. I was just curious about what kind of duties they have to do and how much they get paid. It looks interesting because they get to travel a lot to perform for people.

I strongly do agree with Wilford because he is absolutely correct. When you do something wrong it won't make you feel better or make you a better person according to Wilford. You won't gain anything. Nothing is obtained when you decide to do what's wrong. Doing something correct might gain you something. Doing the wrong thing never takes you anywhere. If you’re not doing something right then you’re not gaining anything. Just like when your doing push-ups, if you barely go down when you do push-ups then you’ll see very little results happening. If you do go all the way down then you’ll start seeing improvement dramatically. Just like when you cheat on a test you never get any smart because you never studied you just decided to cheat. Every time you decide to do something the wrong way you never gain anything. You actually start to hate the fact that you cheat and don’t do it the right way. The best way to do anything is the right way, the way it’s suppose to be done. Without shortcuts or any kind of cheating involved.

Summer Plans

I can't wait for summer vacation. My family and I are going to go to Las Vegas on June for 4 days. I love going to Vegas. We are starting to go once or twice every year for now on. Las Vegas is fun. I really do enjoy staying at the Circus Circus Hotel and going to the arcade and Adventure Dome with my cousins. I also like to go to the pool and stay there for a while. Lastly, I love walking the strips. We may also go to Laughlin again. We just went 2 weeks ago. It was alright. We went to the Colorado River to go for a swim and cooked burgers. After we went to go check in at the Aquarius Hotel and went to the pool. The next day we went bowling and lazer tagging. I enjoyed Laughlin but I think Las Vegas is better.. And well I'm hoping I get to go to an amusement park again like Disneyland or Six Flags with my bf. We went to Disneyland together twice just a couple months ago. And I really want to go to Hurricane Harbor since it's going to be summer! For the summer I am really looking forward to start looking for stuff for my sweet 16. I really want to find my dress already! I can't wait to have a 16 because I know it will be a day for me to remember. I hope I get to travel more during my summer vacation. I love to travel and discover new things. When I grow up I want to travel. One thing I forgot about doing during my summer vacation is to work out!! I need to work out like ASAP. Well that's pretty much it that I'm planning for my summer.
