Educating the body, mind, and character

"Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of educating the BODY, the MIND, and above all the CHARACTER, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation."
By: Theodore Roosevelt

What this quote defines is that you need to educate your body and character in order to do good for your country. You must train others in giving moral training for those who are going to choose the faith of this country. And hope they will choose the right for this country to live. An example would be is you need to choose what's best for you and everyone around you. Like a class president, he or she chooses the best for his class. That's what Mr.Roosevelt wants. I also do truly agree with this quote because these are the three things that help us to do good things. They help us choose wise decisions. They also help us to be a better person. The body helps you move and also gives you 5 senses. Since you can move you van go help people or do some chores and you will be rewarded. People will like how generous you are and appreciate you. Your mind controls your body. It tells it what to do. You also think what you have to do. You always have think about what is right and make the choices for yourself. Finally your character. Your character describes what type of a good person you are like your personality. Character is mainly important because it shows what type of person you are.
