Duties
and Responsibilities: Cardiologists are physicians who diagnose and
treat conditions of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and the
body’s blood vessels. Their duties include:

Discussing about symptoms, treatments, and
diagnoses with patients.

Install pacemakers, prescribe medications,
and monitor their effectiveness.
·
Perform medical imaging studies and other
diagnostic procedures.
·
Document all patient data and interactions.
·
Obtain continuing education by attending
conferences and reading medical publications.
·
Educate patients about how to lead a
healthier life
Salary:
$62,000 - $413,000 per year
Education:
Must graduate from medical school, complete a residency, and become
board-certified in internal medicine, and then complete a fellowship in
cardiology.

you would like to be one?
Why? Why not?
I wouldn’t like to become a Cardiologist because this job
doesn’t interest me. I wouldn’t want to diagnose and treat conditions of the
cardiovascular system. Even though they get paid well, I still wouldn’t want to
be one. I don’t want to become anything that has to do with medicine.
