Eight Great Reasons To Tell The Truth
-Barbara A. Lewis

1. Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's a less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.
2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught).
5. Other people trust you more than when you tell the truth.
6. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
7. You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value.
8. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful inside.

It is always right to tell the truth no matter what situation you’re in. Why lie to someone if you know that you wouldn’t like to get lied to. If you lie, there are many consequences that can lead to lying. You will either get caught, lose trust from a person, lose respect, and maybe will be disliked. You shouldn’t lie because it can make you a better person and your image will represented better. These are right examples on why you should tell the truth and it’s correct because it tells examples on how errors can be fixed and making up lies can be worst. If you want to gain trust by someone you should always be honest with them.  Another reason why you shouldn’t lie is because the person you lied to will probably get hurt. It’s hard to forgive someone whom they trusted. And gaining trust and respect back isn’t easy. I agree with Barbara A. Lewis because her tips can be very beneficial in life. I can tell that Barbara A. Lewis is a CTR.

“If I’ve got correct goals, and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how, everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing, I’m going to succeed.”

“If I’ve got correct goals, and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how, everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing, I’m going to succeed.”
-Dan Dierdorf
This means that if you have good or correct goals, and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how, everything else will fall into place. If you pursue good goals then good things will come to you. If you have goals that you need to accomplish you should always achieve them the correct  way just like the rest of your goals as well. When you do good things, life sometimes rewards you with good things as well. If you manage to do the correct thing, you will probably always succeed. Anybody is capable of being great, anybody can be successful if you choose the right pathway. Set a goal for yourself and make sure you accomplish it. Whether they are short term or long term goals. Be positive for everything you do.The human body is capable of doing almost anything, it’s your mentality that needs to change.

"The most important thing you will ever have is good values."

"The most important thing you will ever have is good values."
-Dennis Prager

What Dennis Prager is saying is that the most thing you will ever have is good things. That’s what should be important to you is to have good values. For example you should do things so your image can be shown as someone who has great values. If you don’t have good values then your image as a person will be different. It should be important to have great values. We should also always be thankful to have good values because some people don’t like using these values like great, helpful, and many more. I like to use values because you are making yourself have a good reputation for/to others. It’s also important to have good values because good values are what motivate people and it makes them who they are today to do good values and that’s what leads them to success.

"The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.”
-Dr. Laura Schlessinger

What this quote means is that when you do good, good will come back to you. Sometimes you will receive an award but all that matters is that you are doing the right thing. When you do the right thing you will feel good about yourself.  For example, the guy that Mr. Haymore showed us on the clip was a CTR man. He found an iPad packed with $13,000 in it and returned it back to the authorities. He was rewarded by the owner with $60. He wasn’t greedy with the money and gave some to a homeless lady whom he cared about. That displays that he is a man who has a good heart. If you choose the wrong then you will lose your self respect from others. Your self-worth will drop and your self-esteem will drop also. You should always be kind to others and they will be kind to you. This kind of refers to the Golden Rule because the rule is to treat others the way you want to be treated. If you treat someone with respect then they will respect you back.
