Duties and responsibilities: An acupuncturist is a health care worker trained in using acupuncture to treat a variety of disorders. Acupuncturists sometimes work with other health care professionals to treat patients with disorders like musculoskeletal problems including neck or back pain, insomnia, nausea and anxiety. Some acupuncturists hold a medical degree, and many are trained in using Chinese herbs in conjunction with acupuncture techniques. Their duties include:

Salary: $41,000 - $144,000

I wouldn’t like to be one because this job doesn’t interest me. I wouldn’t want to help patients who musculoskeletal problems that have to do with the neck or back. They get paid really well though.

Psychiatrist

Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in the problems of mental illness. As physicians, they are licensed to use a wide variety of treatments and may write prescriptions. Psychiatrists may work for the government, have their own private practice, or work in hospitals, clinics, or universities. Their duties include:

·        Designing treatment programs.

·        Conducting psychotherapy sessions.

·        Prescribing potent mental illness drugs.

·        Supervising electrotherapy treatments.

·        Conducting research.

·        Leading a team of mental health care providers.

Average Salary: $90,000 - $200,000

Educational Requirements: Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D. degrees

In addition to completing the requirements for a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

The idea of being a psychiatrist sounds good. I like it because you get to help people out with their problems which is my thing and you also earn good money but personally  I would not like to be one  because my future career is to either become a heart surgeon or a lawyer.  The idea of becoming a psychiatrist doesn’t really interest me. 

opthalmoligist

Ophthalmologist

          Duties and responsibilities:

Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologists are in private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinics and others perform research.

Average Salary: $90,000 - $150,000

Educational Requirements:

Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologists. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

I wouldn’t like to be an ophthalmologist because this job doesn’t really interest me. I don’t like the idea of specializing in treatment of eye care disorders and treatment. They get paid really well but I still don’t find any interest in becoming one.

Ambulance Dispatcher

Duties and responsibilities: an ambulance dispatcher, also called a 9-1-1 operator or public safety telecommunicator, is someone who answers emergency and non- emergency calls. They take information from the caller and send the appropriate type and number of units. Ambulance dispatchers work in an emergency communication centre, often called a Public Safety Answering point. (PSAP)

Salary: $22,000 - $52,000

Education Requirements: Most ambulance dispatchers need a high school diploma, GED, and computer skills.

·       an associate's or bachelor's degree may preferred by employers

·       Criminal justice, communications, computer science

·       Certification may be required depending on the state

·       Strong listening skills, empathy, ability to multi-task, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, typing skills, proficiency in computer-aided dispatch software

·       Clean criminal background, ability to pass a lie detector and drug test, good hearing and vision, U.S. citizenship

Yes I would like to become an ambulance dispatcher. This job does interest me. I want to help people and make sure they get the help they need to be safe. Also they get paid well.

Athletic Trainer

This job sounds interesting but I wouldn’t like to become an athlete trainer because I’m really not an active person. I like to play basketball and run but I don’t run and play basketball every day. They don’t really their injuries or helping them get better at a sport. get paid well. I’m more into joining in a career that involves with being a doctor or a heart surgeon. I’m not interested in helping people with improving in a sport.

This quote defines that we make our own decisions and whatever decisions we make, we take it and create our future. The wrong decisions we make will lead you to a bad future and the good decisions you make will lead you to a good and successful future. Everyone has decisions to make. Whether you make a good decision or a bad decision. For example, a good decision is maintaining getting good grades, finishing school, and having a successful life. An example for a bad decision is smoking, doing drugs and dropping out of high school. That is choosing the wrong but whatever decision you make will determine destiny and your future. It's all up to you to make a right or wrong decision. Your future depends on you and how you want to live it.

I have a couple of hobbies. I like to play basketball, listen to music, sleep, use my phone, and cook. Whenever I get bored, I go outside in the backyard and play basketball with my cousin. Well we don't really play basketball but we shoot hoops. I got interested in playing basketball by playing it in 6th grade with my friends for p.e and I thought it was really fun. I love to hear music. I love to sing and dance to music even though I can't. I listen to music when I am in a bad mood.
